Alan Perlowitz is the managing partner of Chaves Perlowitz Luftig LLP and heads up the firm’s Real Estate and Banking Practice Groups.

Alan, armed with a strong accounting (Alan is a non-practicing CPA as well as attorney) and finance background, counsels clients on a diverse array of real estate, finance, tax and corporate matters. This unique blend of business and legal experience has given Alan an advantage when structuring, documenting and closing transactions.

Alan concentrates his practice in commercial and residential real estate with a strong emphasis on representing institutional lenders in real estate and asset based lending transactions. Many of Alan’s loans include properties secured by office buildings, shopping centers, multi-family and industrial buildings, mixed-use facilities, construction projects and hotels.

In addition, Alan has extensive experience in representing clients in the acquisition, sale and financing of residential cooperatives, condominiums and townhouses. Alan is sought after by many of NYC’s top real estate brokers, bankers and clients, because of his uncanny ability to evaluate complex issues and his dedication to resolving matters in a timely and professional manner.

Alan is the father of three daughters and enjoys golf, tennis and spending time with his family.
