Diana Lipsig has practiced real estate law for over 25 years and built a reputation for excellence in the facilitation of real estate transactions. She has a considerable range of experience in both New York City and the east end of Long Island.
Starting with her initial review of the sales contract, Diana works to resolve all obstacles to a successful closing. Using patience and persistence, she is highly skilled at overcoming roadblocks related to the contract negotiation and loan process. Whether the client is a first-time homebuyer or an experienced investor, Diana is committed to providing personalized attention to meet their real estate needs
Diana assists clients in a wide range of areas of real estate law, including commercial buildings, restaurant and store lease negotiation, title disputes, apartment buildings, cooperative apartments, condominiums, and single and multi-family homes. As a long-time homeowner, investor, and rental manager in the Hamptons, Diana has the personal experience necessary to advise purchasers and investors of real estate in the area.
Diana received her law degree from New England Law/Boston, where she was on the dean’s list, and her B.A. in from the University of Vermont (UVM). During her time at UVM, she was awarded a political internship with a Member of Parliament in London, where she learned first-hand the skills required for successful negotiation and conflict resolution.
She is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and Women Attorneys in Real Estate (W.A.R.E). In addition, Diana has completed five international marathons for charity and is a certified SCUBA diver.
Diana splits her time between New York City and East Hampton, where she resides with her husband and her rescue cat, Bagley.Contact Us Now
